Objective: As the lead firm in a joint venture with V&A Consulting, UPCE Consult Ltd was contracted by the Rwanda Social Security Board (RSSB) to carry out feasibility and technical studies for three new RSSB branch offices located in Gatsibo, Nyabihu and Gisagara Districts. Scope & Methodology: Over a 36-month, 6-district assignment, our multidisciplinary team assessed the viability and technical requirements of each proposed branch site, produced architectural designs for the new office buildings, and conducted comprehensive environmental impact assessments for each location, compiling detailed findings into individual reports per branch. Key Deliverables: Feasibility and technical study reports for each of the three RSSB branches, complete architectural designs for the new office buildings, and detailed environmental impact assessment reports. Impact: This large, multi-site assignment successfully expanded RSSB's institutional footprint into three additional districts, giving the client a technically sound and environmentally compliant foundation for constructing modern branch offices that improve service access for social security beneficiaries across Gatsibo, Nyabihu and Gisagara.
